Important Information:
~ Six weeks left of school. We're in crunch time! Keep up the good work!
~ I am working on rescheduling our field trip to Fog Willow Science Farm. I'm hoping to make it for one of the first two weeks in May.
~ Remember to use http://www.goodsearch.com/ when making a search online. A donation is made to HRS with every search you make. You can also use goodshop.com and donations are made to HRS. Nick and I bought something on eBay through goodshop.com and $11 was donated to HRS. It is so easy and has ANY store you can think of to order from.
~ KEEP WORKING ON READING AND SIGHT WORDS!!! Have your child read to you EVERY night!!!

Star of the Week is ... anyone may bring anything now
Math:
~ We will be starting "Messy Math" next week. These are timed addition tests. We will continue reviewing all math topics; especially time, money, addition, and subtraction.
Language Arts:
~ We write sentences on all of our worksheets and do a lot of writing in our journals. We have also been reading a lot more. Students are now reading directions for our worksheet and all of the stories on them.
Science:
~ Some of our sunflowers have sprouted. We learned about Earth Day and how we can help the Earth.
